R1200R Windscreen on R1100R?

Hi Folks!

At the BMW website, you can see a small plexiglas windscreen for the current R1200R.

Anyone know if it can be fitted to the R1100R? Or if some other similarly sized windscreen is available?

very good question, i've been also wondering what kind of windscreens (non r1100r specific) can be mounted on the r1100r.

Not sure about the R1200R but i fitted the R1150R Sportster Screen

Relatively straight forward... but... this model has the Tacho & Clock
on the outer which the brackets do not allow straight forward assembly
with the 2 longer bolts only, the instrument brackets must be trimmed,
where the bolts mount underneath, other than that it looks cool and rides
well, takes a lot of the wind off my shoulders which makes a relaxing ride.

I loctited the screws on the windscreen as well.

I also fitted an r1150r speedster screen to my r1100r. Just had to source longer two longer M8 bolts and it fitted straight on. A cheaper alternative are the £30 screens from Hein Gerrick. I had one also and it worked just as well - didn't look as good.
