Partly the bike, but mostly the combination of bike and place that makes this one of my favourite pics.

Is it just me, or does it look like the saddle bag isn't installed correctly?

It's probably just the angle of the picture. They look fine to me...I'll just keep some duct tape in both of 'em in case one starts falling off.

I think you will find they are not fine. Look again at the forward lower attachment. It is not correctly engaged with the retention peg on the bike. This is a classic woops

About 70,000 (45k miles I think)..
I've not been riding as much these last few years..(surfing too much).. mostly short trips around town and the nearby hills.

Hey, DJ
are you going to apply, or have you applied for the Queensland Best Job In The World? You know, watching that island for 6 months?

Why would DJ want to apply for a job when he can just surf and ride all day?
If he got the job, he could still surf, but with no place to ride

Here's a few pictures of my bike...
There first few were taking right after I bought the bike out at the local lake...
Action shot from last years trip to the Tail of the Dragon...
Tail Chop & Remus Exhaust...
I'll be taking my 1st cross country camping/bike trip this summer. A buddy and I are headed to Yellowstone probably sometime late August. I'll be sure to post some pictures when we get back!

Okay, how'd you hack the tail like that? I've been looking into doing something about the huge plastic ugliness in the back for awhile.

AirForceDirt
I started out by using a reciprocating saw to hack off the rear fender (using the bottom of the license plate as a guide). Once I had my rough cut done, it was time to break out the hand files and smooth out the cut. Once that was complete, I cut some 3M reflective tape to fit the new fender contour since I had removed the stock reflectors.
I hardest part was getting enough courage to start the first cut and then there was not return!!

Do you notice if you're throwing anything farther without that piece to deflect it all?
