Purchased a Hugger. Now what?

Just purchased a Nippy Norman Hugger and received it in about 8 days which is pretty good. I didn't realize you have to take the rear wheel off and want to make sure I'm doing it right. For some of you who have purchased this hugger, any recommendations in preparation to install and during the install? Anything you learn that you'd like to share before I start work on this, this Saturday?

When I put the hugger on I just loosened the lugs and was able to move the wheel enough to get it on. Not sure that made it any easier, I was just lazy and didn't want to pull the wheel all the way off.

To remove the rear wheel completely you also have to pivot the exhaust out of the way. I had some difficulty moving the exhaust on mine so I would suggest doing it the way that ScottSuff mentioned. The hugger fit well and looks good.

That's why I was lazy, didn't want to pivot the pipe as well.

Installed the hugger in 1/2 hour. Very simple and thanks to you who suggested to loosen the lugs on the back wheel. That's all I had to do and minutes later, I had everything on and polished. This hugger looks very good. A bit on the thin fiberglass side. I'd have liked a little more thickness, but all in all, this is a nice product and mades the R look good!

Don't evn attempt to rassle w/the exh rear whl monster >>> take that hugger & immediatly mail it to PO box 57 Wales,Ma. 01081 ..We'll both feel much better
