gps.mounting

Post by dd »

hi.
does anyone know if bmw (or anyone else) makes a gps mount that will fit onto the 4 bolts that hold the handlebars on?
if so, do you know the part number?
thanks.
-daniel.
it seemed like a good idea at the time

BMW does. Costs about $150 - it provides a 4 hole block you can screw your Garmin factory mount to. It's in the REALOEM.COM catalog under accessories I believe (or radios and communications..)

The BMW part number is for the bracket is 71607700742 $108.95, the four bolts required are part number 32717652161 $10 each. prices are from MAX BMW.

Touratech has a bracket that provides a 1/2" mounting bar if you have a mount that requires such (including theirs). http://www.streetline-usa.com/shop/show ... Huq2EE4F3F

I went with the gadget guy mounts http://gadgetguy.net/ for my Zumo.
