Warning light?

Post by rich1kim »

Hey everyone, I wanted to find out if anyone knows what the red triangular light next to the brake failure light means. It only goes on when I press the brakes. The brake failure light does not go on at all. I thought it was the battery, so I installed a new fully charged battery, but it still happens. Also the brakes work fine. It only happens when I press the brakes. I tried turning the handle bar heaters, high beams, etc. No problems, except when I press the brakes. Any one encounter this problem?

I took my bike to my dealer and he recommended charging the batteries, but like I said, I just installed a fully charged, new battery.

red triangular light next to the brake failure light [symbol]... only goes on when I press the brakes
Guessing either brake fluid level within the iABS module (level sensors for the two reservoirs are linked in series), or a brake lamp failure.
