I'm happy to hear of your aversion to pink. It hasn't been my color since the 80's.
I think it is interesting that there have been a few of you ladies who have had the
excellent judgement to ride an R1200R, a true 'rider's' motorcycle.
I don't mean to pick on other BMW bikes but IMHO the R12R turns, stops, goes and looks
better than any other bike on the road.
So when I'm up in Canada, I'll look for the female motorcyclist wearing Arnold S./Terminator sunglasses, a
'Save Martha' sweatshirt... smoking a cigar then? ha ha...I'm so funny...to me.

I currently have a both Monster 1100S and an R12R. That the Ducati handles beautifully and is a lot of fun to ride was not a surprise. That the BMW has the same attributes, was.

Since I'm old, I guess both of them could be for old men.

Finally, as a friend says, when he looks out at the girls, they look the same as they always have, but when they look back at him, they see grandpa.

I've noticed while riding down the street that often women will look at me longingly, imagining, I suppose, that they are gazing at a studly young man. As long as I don't take my full face helmet off, I can pretend that I am who they think I am. Of course in my mind I still have the physical attributes I had 25-50 year ago. Alas, I seriously doubt that any woman would share that fantasy.

Oh, well.

I've seen more ladies on BMW's, riding them, not as passengers than any other bike here in the San Diego area. Harley seems to have a few females riding as well.
Let's face it, experience, cash and good taste and motorcycle expertice (on some level) all riding with one motorcycle owner generally shows up with at least a few gray hairs.
I'm 53 with 3 grandkids and another on the way next week.
I think it was Enoch who was 900 when he walked up to heaven with God wasn't it? We have years ahead of us
with some good living. I wonder if Enoch had a 1923 R bike?
