Help please.
1. I done a search and read countless posts but can't determine from them whether tankwings can be used with GS handguards on a standard handlebar set up (meaning without barbacks). Can they or can't they be used with handguards?
2. Do they work? I would say from all the posts I read virtually all say they do at least a little bit to a lot, but any recent experience would be welcome. I can't seem to resist adding that one more thing that promises to give me a quiet ride. Right now I have the touring screen with the laminar lip. No buffeting, but can be pretty loud.
Thanks!

Can I get a definitive answer on the Aeroflow tankwings?

Re: Can I get a definitive answer on the Aeroflow tankwings?
I have had the Areoflow 1/2 touring sheild and wings for approx 12k. Though they make my bike into a RT lite, it works for me.
I have occasionally ridden without the wings and I can always tell that the noise and wind buffeting are increased. As far as the looks are concerned, I struggled with that for about 5 min, then I got on the bike and rode and it ws no longer an issue. That which functions well is beautiful to me! If I ever lose a wing I will replace it.
Sorry no GS experience only RR.

Re: Can I get a definitive answer on the Aeroflow tankwings?
Thanks Joe. As to my GS comment, I was referring to whether the tankwings interfere with GS handguards being used on an RR. I fought so hard to get them on, I am reluctant to take them off.
Re: Can I get a definitive answer on the Aeroflow tankwings?
I have the GS Hand guards and the tank wings on my 2004 R1150R. There is about an inch of clearance. However, I do have barbacks on it. They probably raise the bars an inch. So, it could go either way, but I get you could make it work. I bought my bike with the wings on it so I can't comment if they make a difference, however, there is very little air on my chest. As to noise, I always ride with earplugs.
