South Padre Island - early morning

It has been hot here in deep South Texas, decided to ride to the Island before the sun came up. Left McAllen at 4:45 am for a 100 mile trip, arrived befor sunrise. Pictures above. Home before 10:00 am - got my trip in, feel better already. On the way home I ran across the rest stop, just had to include it's picture. Enjoy!
Looking to another ride to Torrey, made the May trip IX with the other group.

Hi, Bill welcome to the site. Nice write up and neat pictures. About the Big Bend ride, the fellow who started it is at Laguna Seca this weekend.
He will probably write you when he gets home. Didn't you go to Torrey
with your son Eric? I was at Torrey this year with this group. Great time.
