Helmet options for the naked riders

What are we talkin about this for? I too have a Shoei Qwest and it's amazing. It's hands down the quietest helmet on the market, comfortable too. Arai can't hang simply because the visor mechanism is on the outside of the helmet instead of the inside like the Shoei.

I think we need one thread to bring them all and in the darkness bind them. So I will state that beyond a doubt, the best combination is an Arai and synthetic oil.

I just purchased a Shoei Qwest helmet to replace my 5 year old HJC. I read lots of reviews about the Shoei helmet and they were all positive. The Qwest fit me much better than the RF-1100 did and the Qwest is supposed to be quieter than the RF-1000 and the RF-1100. I paid $298.00 plus tax at my local dealer so I did not pay a lot of money for a quality helmet. Now if it will ever stop SNOWING and get warm I will be able to give it a try.

As you may recall, I'm very sensitive to valve cover holes.

By the photo, have you considered upgrading your engine guards? It's an old thread but I think you bring new meaning to the 'need' for them.

Just received a Shoei RF-1100 from Cycle Gear in the mail today. Great fit on my head. Will provide a review in the next couple of days. I'm coming off two Scorpion helmets that fit well but fell apart after a couple of years. I've had Shoei's in the past (X-9) and was happy with them.
