Beakster Bash 2012 - May 17th - 20th

Post by wncbmw »

OK - here is the information for everyone wanting to attend the Beakster Bash 2012!

Dates are May 17th - 20th (Weekend after Mother's Day).

Location is the Quality Inn in Lewisburg, West Virginia. Link here:

http://www.qualityinn.com/hotel-lewisbu ... ry=&scity=

There are 15 rooms blocked out until May 3th under the name 'BMW Bash'. Rates are $71.99 / night for a double queen bed. This is the AAA single room rate for double occupancy. All rooms are non-smoking but if you need smoking or a single King bed, just ask when you call.

There is a bar and lounge on the premises for a gathering place and plenty of nearby eating establishments, gas stations and a Wal Mart. And my Verizon phone gets service there!

Rooms should be available now for reservation. The phone number for the motel is 304-645-7722.

Hope we have enough turnout to use all the rooms! See you there!

He who hesitates could be sleeping in their bike cover next to the dumpster.

I' m booked. Looks like it will be a busy place for bikers and motorcyclists that weekend. The Pacific Coast Riders Club will be there Saturday on their Honda PC 800's and so will another Thunder type bike group  . On the 20th, Sunday, the annual Rolling Thunder ride to DC stops by but I'll out of there early Sunday. Saturday night should be good!! Don' wait to book!

They told me when I booked about the PC riders. There are two big bike events that month passing through Lewisburg in May, including the Rolling Thunder on the way to DC. The fellow I booked the rooms with said one of those weekends, there was not a single room in Lewisburg available. Fortunately, its not the weekend we are there!

I'll be there. Can't miss another. That would mean relinquishing my dominance in attendance.

Jeff - you have perfect attendance? I was so disappointed when my mechanical issues kept me away, breaking my run of attending every Bash. Starting a new streak this year.

Oh well, 8 out of 9 ain't bad.
