Sup guys
my low-fuel light isn't working and am trying to diagnose the problem. having removed the fuel pump plate a couple times I realize I prolly need to acquire a few more o-rings for it since I would be taking the plate on and off
dealers charge $8 plus tax for the o-ring. beemerboneyard sells them $6 something plus shipping as a kit with bunch of other stuff but I just want like 3-4 o-rings without the other stuff
does anyone know where else I can get them? a equivalent part from autozone, orielly or something?
My own research yields the bmw part number and approximate size: Fuel pump unit o'ring , approx 112 x 5.25 mm Viton 16.14-1 341 008

any tips/advice?
thx in advance

Re: where to get fuel pump plate o-ring for cheap
ok, bought one from dealer this morning. measured the size again and decided to try this part. btw the measurement is pretty accurate from the link in the first post: Viton O-Ring, 75A Durometer, Black size 348
Viton seems to make the o-ring for 2 hardness duro 75 and 90. I ordered the 75. I will compare it to the oem part and let you guys know what I think. BTW dealer charges $7.11 incl. tax (which is not too bad), amazon's 348 cost $2.61 incl. shipping (which is even better)
Here's the part from amazon I ordered in case if ur wondering:
