Fairing Windshield for R1150R / Rockster

Post by Christopher_WRS »

Hi all! i'm the director of http://www.wrs.sm, an Italian website that sells motorcycle accessories. This is not spam, I just wanted to let you know that we have available on our website many parts for the R1150R like fairings windshield and many others. The BMW R1550R is also my first bike, :-) (and of second i've a Multistrada, but you know…the first love you can't forgive !)

i designed it:

Here we have the page: http://www.wrs.sm/en/prodotti-wrs-cupol ... kster.html

I am also here as a representative in the official answer to your question. If you want to, on our website we have other products for the R1150R, thanks to all !

p.s. may i've attached a photo of mine ?

Yes. It would be nice to see it on the bike. I don't think that picture does it justice. Also some feedback on how it actually works with buffeting and wind noise would be helpful as well.

hi all ! yea, you're right, i'll put a photo of mine with it ;)

i'll give you also some specs !

Windshield for R1150R / Rockster in plexiglass high quality for maximum transparency, comparable to glass, 4 mm thick as the original.
The profile has been revised, accentuating the folds of the fairing so as to deflect the air to the sides and upwards, eliminating turbulence.

Thanks to the new profile,
you will be better protected during your travels!

Screen sizes:
Height (center light): 40cm
Width: 42cm

Would love some info related to a better touring windshield for the Rockster. I have the BMW touring, and I am tired of all the buffeting and wind noise.

I have the same shield, and added the Wunderlich deflector to the top. It made a world of difference.

I'm 6'1" 32" inseam, and use a Sargent seat.
