Krauser soft luggage panniers

Post by finsally »

Hi Guys, anybody got any info on these new panners from Krauser.
Can't seem to find any product reviews maybe because they have not been out long.
Here in the uk they are priced at £239 or thereabouts.
There is a website called motolegends which sell them.but info is a bit vague.

Brilliant first post shezi. I think I speak for the forum when I say how glad we are you decided to create an account at 1am just to make it. Yes, this is a very amazing and informative forum. Unfortunately, we can only address items that we have information on... Krauser soft bags aren't exactly a hot item. Also, if the OP had posted links to the product he was asking about, he may have had more success.

Welcome to the forum!

The most information I could find was on Krauser's website http://www.krauser.de/produkte/motorrad ... language=2 Seem like quality products... Not much luck on searches for product reviews though.

Which ones were you looking at? I think the C-Bow Trail and the Skyline are both rather cool looking, depending on how you have your bike set up.

Hi,I was thinking about the street C-Bow softbags.my pillion would struggle to get on the bike with the bmw hard panniers.so they might be a alternative I have the bmw pannier rails fitted to my bike.
I don't know how they would fit as the info is a bit vague.also they have not been out long enough for anybody to review them.

The U.S webBikeworld is a excelllent site for bike product reviews, might just wait until they have tested them.

From the looks of the C-Bow mounting system (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xd7Dm5O0G1M) it might conflict with your BMW System Case Mounts. Having to install and uninstall mounting brackets to accommodate the occasional pillion seems like a pain. Maybe just some nice throw over saddlebags? These are nice: Cortech Bags

Hello from another world. I have those on my F800GS and like them. They are not particularly pretty. They are Ortlieb Bags made for Krauser and they seem to be sturdy. I have only had them about two months. You will need mounting info for your bike, but I can tell you they do as advertised, are easy to open and close and have been waterproof in a series of hard rains. Requires the C-Bow mount.

Bought in US http://www.sportmotogear.com/Krauser_50 ... 00-001.htm

Photos on GS are probably useless, but are here:
