GoPro Mounting on R1150R for Isle of Man TT Trip

Post by Faster675 »

... the wife and I will be renting an R1150R for our trip to the Isle of Man TT .... getting psyched !

( this will be my first time riding an R1150R ... only other BMW I've ridden is my friend's '73 R75/5 )

Is there any reason why I wouldn't want to mount my go-pro to the "fork leg", just above the front fender ?
- using a go-pro rollcage mount ....

I mounted mine to the handlebar using a RAM mount, seemed to work okay... Does the bike you're renting have engine guards? That could also be a good spot.

I mount my GoPro camera right where you're describing on the right fork leg just over the fender. Works great.
