I have been using Champion C301 oil filters successfully for years and have a wrench that fits them. However, I noticed that the latest filter I bought has smaller diameter than the earlier ones so my wrench does not work for it any more. In the filter housing there is also a crimp that did not exists in the older filters. Looks like Champion has changed the filter design. Has anyone noticed the same thing? Fortunately I have found a local supply for MANN filters with a good price so my wrench will not be useless.

I use the Mobile 1 M1-102 Uses the same wrench as the filters I've purchased from Beemer Boneyard.
Here's a few others that cross referance for R1150R /Not sure about wrench fit on these, best take your wrench with you when shopping for the filter.

Bosch 3330
Supertech ST3614
AMSOil SMF 122
