so I get RAIN!
And the problem with that is....???? No gear? Wait until the pavement is cleaned and go out just a bit slower than usual. The air will be so fresh and clean you'll have to take up smoking to balance things out...

I got a chance to go into work early today and get some over time... Based on yesterday I figured that it would be a beautiful day. But I as well got the rain.

My gig for today?

Classic outdoor car show.

Mother Nature's way of letting us know she's still the boss.

Solitario,

I just came back from your neighborhood (Perkins Point) There was a gent from Ramsey on a Duc and a few other riders that dropped by. We had a nice coversation about the tough guys on cruisers that talk big and smell bad, yet a little mist scares the hell out of them. The whole park was motorcycle less. Pitty, the light was beautifully illuminating the folliage.

Do you have any foul weather gear? I use the BMW Klimacomfort suit. All goretex!!!

Gear.............

Post by solitario11 »

I have rain gear but Iwont ride if its raining,,,getting caught in the rain is something else!...I guess the rain force riders to go to perkins and stay local! So I stay home and change the blade on the lawnmower, put up shelves in the new shed(actually a 12x16 garage for the bikes!) and a million of little things aroung the house! the wife loves me! she thinks I am such a guy for doing all the little things that normally get put up for a raining day!

Well, getting points on that honey-do list is probably better than a ride in the rain. Builds good karma for the next time it isn't raining. But soon its likely to be cold and raining. So...
