EddieRR,
If your handling is "Heavy", check the tire pressures and set to 38F, 40R. To experience even lighter handling, crank in the rear suspension preload knob all the way in (by the left footpeg).
Yes the bike is heavy weight wise, but with the right tires (Metzeler Z-6) which I see you already have -and- suspension properly set-up, it can run with the sportbikes on twisty backroads. After that, you'll be able to continue riding around while they have to go home because of the extreme riding positions.
You'll find lot's of info and help here for your bike and it's all free. Get ready to spend more money on "accessories".

new bike
EddieRR - sweet bike! Looks like a nice clean machine. Welcome to the forum. Lots of good advice here and lots of suggestions on how to dispose of excess cash on accessories.
Check out the speedster windshield. Some wind protection but doesn't detract from the lines of the bike.

Eddie, what did you use to ride? I traded my Suzuki Intruder 1500 LC in on a '05 R 1150 R. The Intruder weighted in at 720 Lbs, so I'm thinking the 530 Lb R 1150 is going to be a welcome relief.EddieRR wrote:My cell phone ring this morning when I on the way to work. it was office called and told me they just deliverd my roadster. normally 15 minutes drive end up I got there within' 10 minutes. when I pull into parking lot, the R is unloaded and waiting for me...they are one day early!!!

Capt. Blackadder,
You are absolutely right. I found myself stay in the garage with her more at night...
wncbmw,
Your Roadster is a beauty. the bmw key fob just awesome! yes, the speedster windshield looks nice.

I got mine from Carolina BMW but it is a Wunderlich product. Should turn up in a Google search at a dealer near you. Used the little half key and set screws.WHERE DID YOU purchase that bmw logo round key?
Rub it in! I don't have that problem!wind in my hair

nice Pics!!
Eddie, I meant to ask you: what type of digital camera did you use for those shots?
Re: nice Pics!!
Those were shoot in Nikon Coolpix 995, it is an old model but I still like it. I use as my back up camera. if you think those are good, you should see what Canon 20D could do...dwayne wrote:Eddie, I meant to ask you: what type of digital camera did you use for those shots?
Kristi, I DO wear helmet.
what funny is I mail order the new shoei helmet but the bike arrived before it. I don't have any helmet around so end up I have to take my 1993 Aryton Senna's replica helmet out from my display case...
