Anyway, on to the Bash details. After looking at the few pictures I took, they may not be worth it! I think picture taking was low on everyone's priority, but we managed to get a few in (I'm sure others will post their pics also).
Getting ready to leave (notice the SUN!):

I met up with the Mikes (Camfarm and Machew) on Friday for an interesting trip to Marietta:

We started out in cool sunny weather and while we crossed some of the higher elevations (around 4000 feet) we encountered rain (possibly ice) and a 20 degree temp drop - we were wishing we had the electrics! The rain lasted a short time (a couple hours) while we met up with Brian (DSKYSD) for lunch. After drying off and warming up in a McDonalds we decided to go on and luckily the weather turned for the better. The rain stopped and eventually the sun started to come out:

The roads were still a little wet but we had an excellent route planned that took us on a great road - WV47 - almost took us all the way to Marietta! Here we are at the Hotel and the parking lot - right next to the Ohio River:

The local eatery was nice - some brew-pub - good inexpensive food and beer. Camfarm seemed to attract some interesting women (or should I say, couples) which I'm sure will make Marietta a memorable trip for him!
Saturday we split up into two groups and terrorized the local Ohio roads. Here is one group in Barnesville, and yes, there were lots of barns around.

Luckily My ride home brought me mostly sunshine, and a brief period of clouds, but no wet stuff. I think some others got wet, but they had new gloves. I saw lots of wildlife over the weekend, mostly chipmunks that scooted across the road in front of me, but I did manage to have three deer encounters, the worst being on my ride home. I was on U.S. 50 going about 75mph, checked the speedo and looked up to see a suicidal deer coming from the left across all four lanes - he was in the median at that point heading towards me! Luck was on my side since he was a little slow and missed me. He actually turned around about 30 feet from me and headed back across the other lanes. Had my heart pumping at that point.
My bike started running rough in the rain on Friday which kind of bugged me. I was expecting it to clear up after the bike dried out the next day and ran a couple of tanks of gas through it, but I wasn't that lucky. Now that I'm home and had some time to troubleshoot it, I think I have a bad coil. Time to hit the dealers tomorrow!
Good ride and good seeing/meeting all of you that showed up. Looking forward to the next meet! I think my total miles were...well, GPS says 908 and my odometer says 930. Go figure!
