Those that own the Engage SW-MOTEC, I GOT ONE!!

Can you please advise what tools I will need to install this? I plan to order it and have it delivered to a US courier office. Not that I am cheap and not wanting to give Canada Customs any more money then I have too, but...

I will be spending some a few days in Buffalo next week, so I figured hey, why not?
So I need to know what tools I will need to take with me. Measuring tape???? Some type of Allen key or screwdriver??? Hammer, crowbar, blow torch, welding machine???

You will need the allen wrench from the bike's tool kit that is appropriate for the screws around the fuel tank filler hole thingy... I forget exactly what size they are.

And you will also need a small pair of pliars and a philips screw driver for installing the connector onto the bottom of the tank bag.

No need for measuring. Put the ring on the filler hole, place the bag on it where you want (foward or back) and then mark and install the ring onto the bag.

Real simple. I installed mine in under 20min!

The bolts around the fuel filler cap are M5 Torx.

2nd that. It is a great tankbag. Common hand tools to install. For some reason the holes in the plastic plates did not match the holes in the attachment part on mine and I had to redrill two of them, but it was a minor annoyance.

The bag is on the bike. Yup, installation was real easy...in the parking lot, just used my philips head screwdriver that was in the tool kit to punch and twist the holes, real easy and clean no drill required. Installation took maybe 30 minutes, there was a bit of wind causing me some grief in the parking lot, but all went on. The bag is very secure, and looks to be well made. Thanks for the info and heads up.

Where did you buy it? I checked around a little and found them for about $75US plus the mounting ring for $25. Is this about right?

I think you are thinking of the Trip bag, the Engage is $160 plus $25 for the ring

I think you are thinking of the Trip bag, the Engage is $160 plus $25 for the ring

They said in the ad that it used to be called the Engage, their pricing is $75. I'll have to re-check. It is on TwistedThrottle.com.
Oops! Guess I should have checked before writing this!

The $75 is indeed for the Trip bag, locking type. The anchor type is more for some reason. I think the locking type is on sale or something. I think I would like the smaller one, anyway, which is why I was looking at it. So, $75 is about right then?

Yup, that is the one I was origanlly looking at, but was too small for carrying a lunch and say, a pair of riding gloves. It's reallyl tiny, but if it's all you need...
