Great to see you back on the bike DJ! The bike is looking good!

I was just thinking that with winter coming here in the States, we would be needing to rely on you and others on the southern half of the world for ride reports for a while!

DJ,

It's great to see you have your ride back. I have missed your wonderful ride reports.

I checked out the new R at a dealer open house last weekend. It does look sweet in person, and those extra horses sure would be nice. However, they are just a little too proud of it in my opinion. The price point may be problematic.

Take care

Congrats DJ. That first ride is fun huh?

Vann is right, I was getting a little worried up here, as the snow will soon be coming....and DJ has no bike....but we are OK now.

Here's to Helmet Hair, Coca-Cola, Motorcycles, DJ and LIFE. Cheers.

It's good to know you have your ride back and the fun it's going to be for you and us when we read your reports. Be safe.

Did you get a little nervous when you went back to the scene of the accident?

I thought I felt the universe shift back to its normal self...

Great to hear you're back in the saddle with your Roadster DJ! Your photos prove to me that the R1150R is a better looking bike than the R1200R.

Now, do we need to send some friends that Bob, Tony, and I have in New Jersey down under with a black Cadillac?

Thanks everyone for your nice words and wishes....Tony..I've been looking out for that black Cadillac...they are a very rare sight over here.. :D

Gypsy, it did feel a bit odd seeing the scene of my drop..(not really an accident)..I do feel a bit weary going over the tram tracks now..even in the dry.

It made me think how unlucky the cyclist was..doing nothing wrong..when all of a sudden this motorcycle slides up to him from behind and bowls him over.

It also makes me realize how lucky I was..that there were no other cars or trucks in front of me to slide into.

It feels so good to be back on my bike... \:D/

Glad bike and motorcyclist :) are back together again! I could see where running parallel to those rails could be tricky and to add wet pavement to boot...really tricky. Bike looks brand new! :)

Welcome back to two wheels, DJ.

I also agree that the 1150 is more pleasing to look at than the new 1200.

I can hear you smiling!

Very nice!
Glad you're back in action, and look forward to the reports to help me through the winter.
Enjoy that black beauty!

We need some sort of R1150R exchange program.

A week or so of time on your bike in your summer for me, a week or so of my bike in my summer for you............
