FREE 2007 BMW BIKES!!!!!!!!!

Post by Rog(UK) - Yorkshire Dales »

I don't know whether anybody heard the news about the stricken ship, 'Napoli', which has been beached off the Devon (UK) coast...

"According to the MCA, 50 coastguards are out looking for the missing 40ft long containers, which include one containing hundreds of thousands of pounds worth of BMW motorbikes"

Hey guys, I might be away for a few days........

Ride safely,

I heard about that, incredible isn't it.

The joke is that being BMW's, I bet they'd just need a bit of drying out and they'll work fine  Someone's gonna have a nice belated christmas present!

LOL... read that wrong at first... I was wondering why they were noting that 'thousands of pounds' of bike were lost... why not just say 'several tons'? :smt017

According to the news it's one BMW bike, worth 29,000 lbs.

Was this a ship-wreck? Was it due to those wind storms?
I was dreaming when I wrote this, forgive me if it goes astray...

Not a wreck but yes due to the storms we've had recently.
They deliberately beached the ship as it was listing.
Weather here has made riding interesting to say the least over the last week... :?

I read in the local paper today that the local's had pulled 7 BMW"S from the beaches. They can keep them, but have to report them to the government. Is this the real deal?

This is the real deal. Shipwrecked goods washed ashore that are retreived must be reported to the authorities. Once this is done, if the owner doesn''t claim them they can be kept.

However, if the goods aren't reported then it is theft.
