Plugs on left side of Bike

Post by aeschroeder »

I am too lazy too look at the manual so what are the two plugs on the left side of my Rockster?

One is covered with a rubber plug with a + sign on it and the other an electrical outlet. I am assuming the electrical type is for a heated vest or coffee maker. What is the other one for?

Put on my Sergeant seat today and WOW is it comfy for my hard A$$.

When I took out the seat it has the OEM stuff in it, looks like a small pin device, some paper and a tool but I have not unwrapped it yet.

You guys in the UK and Australia are AWESOME with the feedback and help by the way. I am in Texas and loving this bike (head over heals) from my old 73 BMW. The technology is perfect for an old geezer like me (50).

Those lugs are primarily for giving you an easy way to jump start the bike.
A lot easier than removing the gas tank. The bare one on the cylinder nearby is the negative.

The little outlet with the flip up cover is for your coffee maker.
I was dreaming when I wrote this, forgive me if it goes astray...

Anyone know if the "jumping" lugs can be bought and retro-fitted??
