Held "Steve" Gloves - Do they stretch

Post by sloopy_farklehump »

I need to pick up a pair of gloves this weekend. Do any of you Held gloves owners remember how much (if any) your gloves stretched from wearing?

Mine do not seem to have stretched at all, nor have they seemed to have shrunk after getting wet.

Agreed! Buy them to fit, don't figure on any stretching or shrinkage.

Don't try them on unless you plan to buy them. I made that mistake. With my wallet $100+ lighter, I walked out of the store with them.

I don't remember them stretching, either.

Bob - same for me! I posted on here about the guys at the shop laughing at my facial expression when I tried them on! They knew I was going to buy them!

I tried on a pair last year. They weren't even the right size and I loved them. After having all winter to justify the price tag, I'm ready. I just hope they have a pair in my size!

Thinking of buying these gloves, but since no one around here carries them have been hesitant of buying without putting them on. My question is are they warm enough for winter (as winter as it gets here in SE NC) or too warm for the summer heat? Be safe.

NCPadgett - The Helds with a rain cover as a wind block would probably handle anything you have in that part of the country. Of course, I thankfull escaped that part of the country!
