I do the biz casual thing too. I wear armored pants in the winter but in the summer I sport khaki's with black boots and a flak jacket. I only have 5 miles to commute each way and traffic is fairly light. If I had to wear a suit, I think I'd be changing at the office at least in the summer time. I hate sweating...

From springtime on I try to drive my bike to work everyday and jacket and tie is alas! required for me. So I wear a Spidi jacket and carry waterproof trousers in the case. I also use to leave a blue blazer in my office so sometime I can avoid the jacket. Problem are trousers cuffs which get caught by the footpeg nipple.
Issue I have not solved yet is my shoes: smart idea could be to leave a pair of shoes in my office but I never tried if it always works yet. I saw once a very nice pair of boots which, albeit being a serious pair of shoes had a well designed protection on the top of the left shoe to prevent wear from the gear lever. I never succeded in seeing those shoes again.
