Also got an autoswitch from cyclegadget. Tapped the orange wire from the autoswitch to the TSC wire. The power to the #2 fuse. And the ground to the battery. For the lights, I ran a ground from each light to a frame screw(where another BMW wire is grounded) I wired the white wire(goes to the switch that came with the lights, which I'm not using because thats what the autoswitch is for) to the relay(87). Ran a ground from the relay (85)to the - battery terminal. From the relay(30) I ran a red fused power wire to the + battery terminal. Attached the violet wire from the autoswitch to the relay. Nothing works....What am I doing wrong here??
I would try doing it without the autoswitch first to see if the relay and lights work OK. The autoswitch introduces an additional complexity that will make it hard to diagnose. Check all fuses and wiggle/check all connections.
Bob's suggestion above is a great place to start. It will help isolate your problem. Just curious...where did you tap your orange wire from the AutoSwitch? Did you locate the brown and white TSC wire that's in the bundle of wires below the fusebox and tap there? If so, I'm as puzzled as you, because it appears everything else is wired correctly.
Connections were made with spade disconnects/wrapped with elec tape. Can i just wire the lights to the battery with an inline fuse and no relay to test if the lights work. (if they do), then attach to relay to make sure the relay is good?
Tao...yes the orange wire is attached to the TSC wire (brown w/ white stripe). Everything else works properly...TSC cancels signals, it just wont power on the lights.
See, I told you guys, half the time I dont know what I'm talking about.

WOOOHOOO!!!! Fixed Guys....thank you so much for your wisdom and advice. I'm a bit retarded when it comes to electrical stuff. I wired the lights to the provided switch, and they worked, so I knew it wasnt the lights. Remember that wiring diagram I posted?......well I went back and wired the relay exactly like I THOUGHT I did . Apparently I didnt wire them like the diagram, the wires were not on the correct relay terminals. So...I wired them EXACTLY like the diagram I made up, and Whalla!! Let there be light. You guys are awesome!! Again..thanks for taking time out of your day and helping me out. Now that I did this, I'm pretty confident I can take care of any future wiring, including the Centech fuse box I'm gonna be getting soon
Many Thanks,
Johnny

Congrats on the wiring success! This afternoon I found someone locally with an Autoswitch to sell, but I guess you've got the problem solved... so I'll use my new Autoswitch to control relay power to a Centech AP-1.

I used fuse #7 (heated grips) and a Littelfuse add-a-circuit to get switched power. I picked that fuse because I figured if something goes wrong it is not a mission critical circuit.
I spent a few hours looking at the diagram in my Haynes book wondering where to get power from, how to get away with minimum splicing, etc. etc.
Even found the same part on eBay UK and looking forward to installing my Centech/Relay block/Horn combo so I can get the bike back on the road after 1 year sabbatical in the garage!

You have a #8 fuse? That's news to me, must be a Rockster or dual-spark thing. I thought 8,9,10 were empty on the Roadster/Rocksters.
I've noticed that some of the diagrams on the net don't match up with my two-spark 04. I'll have to print the jabrooks one one and see if it matches mine. I think I have 9 fuses though.
I've noticed that relay #3 (jabrooks diagram) disables both the horn AND headlight on mine. That seems like an odd combo, other than proximity.

As per my previous post - bough the fuse splitter ... and ... found I have 9 fuses too.
Next thing (apart from wasting money) - I had to get to the brake light cluster to get +12 V
Now all the work is finished (much more than just a fuse splitter) ... and it is 1:51 AM on Saturday ... I must be a relly sad to do this after I come home from a long day's work.
