We need some of the enlightened R1200R folks to join us. The herd needs expansion and fresh blood.

I thought the baby was born 2 years ago and prevented you attending THAT Bash? Scotty, you need a better hobby each summer!

Scotty,
You must repeat after me three times...And always remember...

Scott --
Just convince her to breast feed.
Arguments include:
It's better nutritionally for the child; it encourages a strong maternal bond; it's much more convenient since the baby's meal is always ready at the proper temperature and in an EZ double dispenser to boot.
If those aren't enough, you can try arguing that it's the ultimate green feeding alternative.
After that, you're home free 'cause you're not really needed in the process.

Repeat after me:
"I love you."
"I gotta go."
"I'll be back."
"See ya."
Not necessarily in that order. Keep repeating until you have it down pat. Deliver it when you are packed and the Beakster is warm and ready to ride.
If all else fails, slip out under the cover of darkness, run silent, and run south. By the time you get home she will be so.........happy to see you that she will forget her anger and and all will be forgiven.

Bad news - I can't make this year's bash.

I long time friend of mine is getting married (sound familiar Yong?) THAT weekend! I've known this guy my whole life and is considered a close friend. He's the guy that would NEVER get married, but he fooled us all.
This is the first year I'm going to miss the bash, other than the very first bash, but I'll be sure to get a shirt, and say I was there (in spirit). This means I'll HAVE to get to the HMRR in August!
Everyone have a good time, and I want to see lots of pictures!

By my count, it's about 23 days until the Bash.
What's the current head count?
MLW & I will be taking a couple of days to get there and a couple to get back.
Anyone else coming down from the F----n North? That's FROZEN North.
Haven't decided where we'll be staying first night, but somewhere in lower PA or northern MD or VA.
Would be nice to spend the night at the same place on the way down or back.
I used to go across that bridge when going between JAX Fl & PITT; always thought it was a really cool place.
JFSlater, Chally, NoRRmad, TonyT, guy from Albany....................any favorite routes on the way there?

I just went through the posts; first glance list is:
- STDocLizard IIRC he provided a lot of the nice maps / routes for the Central PA Bash
- Marty2 & Son; co-writer / scouter w/ STDocLizard w/ freakishly clean MC & boots; rides faster than I ever will
- JFSlater; 'rides like a rabid coyote', looking forward to another ride (not) in the rain to some freakish Appalachian landmark
- OU812; unknown, but sounds like you have an adventurous appetite
- Mikecam; storyteller extrordinaire; reminds me of FNG writer @ Motorcyclist
- Biff's R; The Organizer w/ the cool T-shirt (I'm still working on something as funny as the 'I Beat Annorexia' line)
- Boxer; unknown, pugilist / Porsche / ? ...
- DYSKYZD; I vaguely remember some pics of an really cool looking garage, that you?
I'm disappointed that CycleRob isn't coming up.
Any word from
- Towerworker
- guy w/ cool green Rockster from Ohio (& pillion that rode Xhrs in the rain)
- Challey
- Scottybooj (still working on a pass?)
- Scottybooj's friends on Kawi & Blackbird
- Chitown
- Challey
- NoRRmad
- All The Rest
