Er.. I guess you don't worry about a broken cable.

I refuse to admit how I know this, but if there is a slip the bike stalls.

If the clutch cable broke, or, in our case, the hydraulics failed, it would probably just stall the engine. And, to be sure, I keep a brake applied. It also has the advantage of keeping the brake light on.
