so, in other words, I should be selling my 2003 with 23K right about now? Is now the time to trade it in for the Ducati Streetfighter?

in all honesty, the work to get the bearing and gears out is pretty easy. I'm just not much of a gear head.

update **
Well, we got the bearings pressed onto the gear for the final drive, replaced all of the O-rings and seals and pieced her back together. It took about an hour to get back together and riding again. now there's no grinding or anything its as smooth as ever
