This is exactly what my local tech told me - he also told me that all my Hyperlites would wreak havoc with error codes. They do, but ONLY when voltage drops, and all I have to do is keep my hands off the brakes when starting, and the "computer" can do it's thing w/o dealing with "why the voltage is down = because my operator has applied the brakes like a dummy." You are correct, the ABS & servos will work after a stall, but when you restart (w/o switching the ignition off & on again), you will eventually get an error code if you ride a while longer. I don't worry about it. I think the ABS/servo system is great - my KTM is fully manual. My 2002 BMW car has a "service engine soon" light that comes on if the gas cap isn't tight enough!!! And I have to drive 50miles or have 2hours of engine running time AFTER tightening it for the light to extinguish itself. These little computers wwill be getting more & more picky about voltages & emissions as we "progress" into a cleaner future.
