I imagine he didn't even hear that lady complain and if he did I'm assuming he could give a rats arse about her, just as she has no compassion for him. Just because he is 80 really doesn't change the fact that in this day you gotta take care of your own business. These situations have too many variables to get a clear picture of what is really going on with these two people. I would have said something too, I just don't know what it would be. Humor, perhaps ?
I think anyone with an actual human heartbeat who actually saw the "geezer" would cut the guy some slack, even the people on this thread who say that old people should somehow be able to move as fast as the rest of us. And anyone who says they'll be able to move as fast at 80 as they do now is FOS, IMHO. Most of us will be lucky to live to 80... I still think the lady was an impatient DOB.

I agree!! These men in their 80's who move slow now no doubt served in the U.S armed forces during WWII. They quickly rid the world of three notorious despots who enslaved millions of OUR ancestor's.

Can we give these old heads some respect??

I'm getting to be one of those "old geezers" all too fast ( I may already be). But I would rather not have my last moments on earth to be standing in line at the PO.
