Of course BMW NA seems snotty, there owned by Germans. German culture doesn't value warm fuzzy feelings. They tend to believe if the product works, the economics will follow. An 'It's my way or the highway' mentality. A rigid way of business, to be sure.

In my dealings with german suppliers, they do not focus on the salesmanship. If they have a product that meets your needs, they would be surprised if you didn't buy it. They would rather spend time engineering than selling. IMHO

Same here. Last time I went to Bob's I was surprised to see a whole bunch of scooters in the showroom.
