Fun time last year at the rally! I still can't believe how you stayed in that I-80 traffic for that long!

Scotty, I have to agree with all above. You were a responsible friend and teacher. Unless you recommended that ghastly bike for a newbie.
I taught Amy (my lovely girlfriend) to ride a while ago. I recommended (with extreme predjudice) that she buy the 1980 kz250. If I had my ideal bike it would have been a kx250 (dirt bike) and been far away from concrete and autos. That is the only safe way to get those first few hours of riding under ones belt.
Still riding (and stalling) those first few right hand turns in traffic, she had my heart in my throat. I was sure that she was going to die, and it was going to be all my fault.
