I've never heard anything but good about Lone Star BMW - have lots of friends in Austin, BMW and other, and they've always been done right by Lone Star. If I didn't have a good relationship with a dealership here in Dallas, chances are that I'd come down to Lone Star for assistance.

Lone Star is one of the best things about living in Austin and riding in the Hill Country. And apparently my opinion is not unique: They were voted the Best European Motorcycle Dealership in Texas by Ride Texas magazine for the 6th year in a row. I have a buddy who gets his GT serviced at North Dallas BMW, and he has nothing but good to say about them, too.

Does anyone have the service sheets for services on these bikes? Woud have been great if you could scan it and get it on this site!

Maybe I'm a bit biased, let the others say their piece.....

The first time i received the bike back after Southbank BMW did a roadworthy check i found the rubber & steel part b) bush which the bolt that holds the petrol tank down goes through, loose in the air filter box.
The second time South bank BMW repaired the bike the main bolt which holds the tank on was left loose, looks like they dont have much time to check their work... i havent forgotten... i will now do all my own work it may take longer but i know that its right.
If you pay a lot of money for crappy workmanship you have to ask "why bother"
