Almost 1 month from my previous post and my street is still covered in ice. Grrrrrrr. If this is what global warming is all about, I'm even more pissed.

I could easyly Ice skate across my yard..solid 2 inches of ice and below 30 weather for the last three weeks..I got out riding one very chilly Sunday morning over a month ago ... Don't get me wrong, I love Missouri..I have my choice of twisty country roads ...25 to 30 minute ride each way each day..I just can't do it year round like folks in Florida and Texas. I work in an eye clinic, and I'm almost numb to the idea that there are people driving around on the same roads I use (Old and young) who literally cannot count my fingers a foot in front of their face. I can say living up here I've never worried about running over an alligator trying to cross the road....just the darn deer.! :)

Rode to breakfast this morning at 20 degrees. Not a long ride, about 30 minutes, but enough to get out some. Light snow this week was all gone but the sand and salt remained, so it was 'tippy toe' through the curves!

Still, nice to get out in February! :)

69 here. I took the FZ out first for an hour and then came home and got the RR and took it out for about 3 hours. What a beautiful sunshine filled day - and more the rest of the week. :D

Check out our current weather...I rode home in this tonight. Nearly lost it twice in the last 100 yards! I love my bike but it's damn heavy when there's no grip for tyres or boots!

Unless you are in Buffalo NY, your weather could be worse. Somewhere in that area has had around 100 inches of snow this week.

And people live back there why?????

Just kidding. The west coast is a hellhole nightmare, nobody should ever, ever, consider moving here. Gang murders every few minutes, gridlocked freeways, crappy housing, poluted beaches & mountains. Its true misery.

I'm sitting at home tonight looking out the window at a driving snow, 25 MPH+ winds...6 straight weeks now of sub freezing temps...
I'm bookmarking Chris's nice picture above in my mind and just making it my "Happy place" to go until this winter ends !!!
