Hi,Bill!
My r1200r is a copy of your bike.I got it on 28.jan.this year and I just love it.Got few sunny days here in Canada so Iput in it 150mls.The bike is amazing.Handling,power,roadholding-tumbs up!!In1976-77 drowe r75/6 in Yugoslavia so it is a hughe improvement compare to that "oldy goldy".Synce r12r is brand new('10year) I don't know to much abouth it.It seems to me it has littlebit more wibration at idling, than the normal. It bothers me. Any help welcome.
Thank you

Patience is a virtue, or so they tell me

If not next week, shortly thereafter my commuting season can begin. This is only her second roll out of the gargage for some air.
Five months under heavy snows, I've tinkered and polished the winter away. After the pinstripe project, I fitted the SW-Motech engine guards, added front fork sliders and replaced the battery. As mentioned here in many posts, the engine guards were a quick project with the right tools ready and they look like an OEM extension of the framework.
Waiting on DOT to fill in some of the widow-makers on the southbound routes to work so the commute is less a stunt and more enjoyable.
Shout out to Dave on the left coast - Thanks! Our R1200R's are like a good cup of coffee for the soul.

I can't believe how nice the bags look with the addition of the pin striping. Nicely done.

Thanks LV!
I don't have the link, but 'studies' have shown that pinstriping adds at least 5mph. If your RR is black, adds 10mph

With all this commotion around the new kid in the family, and my GS crash, my trusty Roadster needed a little attention today.
Last weekend in Death Valley with Nancy, haulin' wood....
