Re: R1200R PHOT0 GALLERY
Impressive first post, and those bags look great. I like how the Remus doesn't cover up the open side of the rear wheel. Bet it sounds cool too! Nice bike...

Thanks... the Remus, especially without the baffle give her a nice roar.... now after mostly around town rides I am getting her ready for some simple winter desert 'ventures... Ohlins are on there way as is a Corbin seat.

Thanks!!! and yes I love the box... I bought a quick release system for it thinking I'd be taking it off when not hauling something but love it on the bike so much I never take it off...Mollygrubber wrote:Yes indeed. T'was I, talking about your bike.gersh10 wrote:Mollygrubber,

drchip, those bags are beautiful; much better looking than the BMW bags IMHO. The lines match the tank so well.

Nice pics. I've got the same windshield. It looks good but there's still buffeting. How do you like yours?

Fabricate some simple front mounts and tip it back a bit - I can't believe what a difference it made to mine... there's a good picture of xprof's solution (which I copied) in the recent 'Non-BMW handguards" thread.Rrider wrote:Nice pics. The rack does come in handy at the campsite.

Another beautiful December day in the South Carolina Lowcountry!

I like those bags Patrick, what are they? And what is that block structure in the third photo?

Thanks Peter! They're SW-MOTECH TRAX aluminum cases. I like 'em cause they're light, square, and open from the top instead of the side. My briefcase fits perfectly in one giving me no excuses for not commuting on the bike!Mollygrubber wrote:I like those bags Patrick, what are they?
That is Fort Moultrie here in Charleston, SC on Sullivan's Island. Originally built in 1776, it was used in some fashion up through WWII.Mollygrubber wrote:And what is that block structure in the third photo?
