Improved Gearshift

Maybe it's because I am older and deafer or maybe it's the full synthetic 75/140 Shockproof Oil- but my gear shifting is a lot quieter.

All mine have 90 wt hypoid, dealer recommended. Found the synthetic stuff made them extremely loud/noisy.

I plan on changing the final drive and gear box oil among other projects this winter.
I was going to ask what gear oil improved shifting, ironic.

It's very expensive stuff in the UK. Made across the pond. I've tried a number of different oils and viscosities over the past 18 years or so.
