Post by hirschg »

I have a line on a slightly used BMW Nav II comes with every thing except the cradle or mount any opinion on this unit would be welcome of course the dealer says I should opt for the NavII because of all of its improvements but this unit is like new and at a reasonable price or I could just but a map for $1.50

Maps can't locate gas and hotels in a pinch.

Just this past weekend, my buddy on a Valkyrie (120 miles per tank, we were on mile 110....) needed gas and we were in the middle of a state forest. Lots of apprehensive thoughts running through my head, as I was the lead bike.

Punched up fuel on my Garmin, presto, gas, 9 miles north.

I want a Zumo.

GPS and a good map------good combination. Use both but avoid depending on just one.
