Finally got something I have been wanting for a long time (No - not new socks!)
I am now bubblefied. You may not think this is a big deal, but when you have horses, your barn or garage can be quite a dusty environment. and that's bad for my bike. I can't tell you how many times I have decided NOT to go on a ride because I have too much dust to clean off. I've not purchased one of these because they can be a little expensive (to me at least) but I found one of these brand new from a gentleman who didn't want it and it was brand new for $100.00 shipped so I am P L E A S E D.

That's awesome! That bike looks hermetically sealed. Will a Thermarest fit beside it on the floor?

Chibbert, If Your worried about keeping it clean in storage, do You ever ride it? Looks like too much hassle to get it in and out for as much as I ride. Besides My bike is never clean enough to be that worried about. My R1150R is strictly utilitarian, (reliable ,economical, and fun ta boot) hard to keep em' clean when it's always moving.

Sorry, my lame attempt @ humor. It's a word George Costanza used in a Trivia game from a scene on the Seinfeld show that features a bubbleboy.

That was a good episode. The answer card was supposed to say "Moors" but it had a typo and ... well, if you have to explain it, it's just not as funny.
As far as the bubble goes, well, I am not sure what to think. I have an air compressor in my garage and if the bike is too dusty I blow it off with the air, which just moves the dust onto something else like the snowblower, but that's fine with me.

Just be careful putting the bike away.
The headers on R1150R's have a well known appetite for all things plastic and meltable.
That bubble looks particularly yummy. Like Boxer candy.

Wouldn't riding a bike outside in the wind be a good way to get the dust off it?
I do understand the bubble-thing though, very good for storing a clean bike & very popular with classic car owners too - they go big & many have a small electric fan in them to keep the air circulating.

I am confused-why not use a cheap and effective bike cover???

beemeridian says,
Fuel efficient too! When the day arrives that one decides to end it all, it won't require nearly as much fuel as the garage would.
Only if you remember to tie a string around your finger. When you drop unconscious, it'll pull the kill switch.
