Attention R1100R owners
I have asked Doug to Add an R1100R forum as there is a lot of large
differences to the R1150R which is our only entry point for discussion
Doug #1 has added that we will instigate proceedings if there is enough
interest.
So please Vote as its for you as well.
POLL
Do you want a separate R1100R Title on the forum
Yes
No

I support this idea given the current set-up.
I would, however, also support combining the four bike specific fora into one Roadster/Naked bike/ Standard forum that addresses all R bikes and the K from the view of Naked Bikes by BMW.

I agree. Make an R forum, and a K forum. It seems like the Rockster guys keep to themselves, along with the K bikes. I guess I'm lazy and want less forums to check in on.
Like Mike said, the way things are currently, we probably should have a seperate forum for the R1100R.

Yes, would like to see a R1100R forum formed. Wonder how much work it would take to get it done? Hopefully there's enough R1100R owners out there who could support the effort.
Gordon
I'd enjoy an 1100R-specific forum also!

I want to know who the TOADS are that voted no. What, you vote no just because?

I voted NO just because I like to go with the underdog...But that was after I saw that only 3 were not interested. I actually have no thoughts on it at all...therefore I don't care one way or the other, so you could take one of those 4 votes away if the votes are for those who vehemently oppose another forum. However, if the NO vote only means that one is is not interested in an additional forum, then I may very well fall into that classification. I don't know of another board anywhere specifically set up for the R1100R so this may be the one place where those owners can get information about that bike. After all, my Haynes manual includes the 1100 and the 1150 in the same book. Ain't that wierd?

The 1100 is the father of the 1150, and therefore, the grandfather of the R1200. They are all of the same blood, so can we not accept our family?

Doug #1
Over to you,
Has enough interest been shown for your approval to add the R1100R forum in here?
Cheers Arbee

The poll is in the wrong section.
It should have been conducted/discussed in the Member's Section.

This is starting to feel like applying for social welfare payments
or trying to build a mosque next door to a catholic church
all we are after is an R1100R forum in here for those applicable members.

Ok, I went and did it, even though statistically speaking, 20 people is not a great number of people. But perhaps it will encourage new meat to join the site and thusly donate?! Worth a shot.
