Hello everyone:

The bottom of my left soft saddlebag (nylon and plastic) got too close to the exhaust pipe and it melted on it. Does anyone know how to remove the residue. Thanks and happy riding.

Bugger!

Let it get hot again and scrap it with a stick or metal blade..and then use metal polish..It should come up like new.

Now that's exactly why my "can is off".
Think about it.....

Thank you

It came off when cold with a very sharp blade, lots of patience and metal polish at the end. Thanks

Easy-Off oven cleaner also works very well if used when the exhaust is still warm. It even comes in a new version (blue can) that has a less-toxic smell.
