Aloha
I just got quoted $72.00 per cable at the dealer in Hawaii....What a rip off does anyone can tell me a place where I can order these for a reasonable price??? I hate the Hawaii Dealer they really are a ripoff!
Aloha!

PS: Just checked a couple of the sites Maxe's and Others and the price seems correct, why are these cables so expensive??? It is just a primary cable made out of silicone isn't it??
Does anyone know of any aftermarket Wires??

The price does sound outrageously steep for 2 wires. To get a replacement you need to be sure they are carbon impregnated fiber wires and not solid wires. With electronic ignition, it's almost always carbon wires, but it can be solid wires with the required resistance placed inside the plastic plug terminal.
Seems like, for about $20 you could buy 2 long lengths of the very best premium quality, high performance, automotive wire made.

I think the cable you refer to is actually the coil. Check Beemerboneyard.com - they may have a used one.

Yes the cables I'm refering to are the Coil to the Spark Plug Cables, these cables are plain spark plug cables and should not be actually $76.00 a piece......That is really a rip off....I can understand the Spark Plugs from NGK being $10.00 each but come on $76.00 for a plug wire is way too much!
There has to be someone that makes aftermarket coil to plug wires for these bikes, but I can't find anyone, I will not pay that kind of money for the wires no way Jose!

I did mention it but it wasn't clear. You can buy carbon sparkplug wire by the foot . . . . . + you can get the crimp terminal ends if needed. Prolly not. The female terminal on the coil usually has a sharp threaded pin in the center that you just screw the wire on to until it bottoms out. Same with the other end at the plug cap.

Beemerboneyard.com now sells NEW after market plug wires 58 bucks a pair, plus shipping. I might try a pair since I've had several issues with OEM wires leaking...maybe just a bad batch...who knows. Anyone else have similar problems?

Motorade electric has the cables as a pair as well at $58.00 for the pair. He is very highly regarded, more for air head electrical, if he sells them they will be correct
