So i've been planning for ever it seems, I'm planning on riding to Alaska solo. So much preparation, but it seems I'm finally ready.
Bills paid. check
Bike ready. check
Camping gear ready. check
Music loaded to the ipod. check
Shoot! I'm 4 months early!
I knew I was forgetting something!
Anyone know where I can get some chains?

These should do the trick

Check these out. Look pretty cool.
Were getting ice right now. Makes that snow look good.

UH, maybe you should consider a ride to Florida instead, to hold you over till the snow melts.
Just a suggestion!!
These were taken about three weeks ago in the Keys.
Just having fun with you!! Actually I'm looking forward to your Alaska trip report. You're an adventure rider, for sure.

Bahia Honda is one of my favorite places in the keys. Jumped off that bridge back in the 70's when the body was much leaner. One of the hidden treasures of the trip down US 1. Boy does that look nice. Great place to eat in Marathon just as you come over the 7mile is the Famous 7 mile grill.
