new to forum...

hello all,
If this is the wrong place for introductions, I apologize. If not, read on.
My Bike is a 1999 R1100R with 48800 miles on it. I bought it new a couple of years out of school with the intent of keeping it for 30 years. I am now getting in to the habit of doing my own mechanical work, so I have been searching the forums for tips.
Fork seals are in need of changing, so if you want to point me to a good link, I'd appreciate it. Found a great one for valve adjustment and so far I think this site is pretty good. I have and old Landcruiser,FJ60, and I find the Ih8mud forum to be a god send. I suspect this one will be also.
