Idea for Beakster sticker - Pls indicate quantity

Post by bikermeow »

Hiya, all ....

I really like the Beakster bird design on the T-shirts. I am thinking of getting it on a sticker format for panniers, bike, doors, books, helmets, furniture etc, you get the idea. Might be a pretty handy way to raise some funds for the forum too.

If it is a go, where I am, Far East, sticker making can be cheap if in bulk. I am willing to undertake the printing and ship the lot over to a central control in the US where most of you guys are; no profit, just the printing cost and shipping. Otherwise I am happy to buy a couple from the central control if the manufacture is in the US.

I really like the design and sticker. :D

I do apologise if the design belongs to anyone and permission have yet to be sought. Obviously the designer have to agree too. It's just me thinking aloud.

Hello Bikermeow,

Sticker to support this forum...? Good idea! I would buy some. :D

BTW, I like this T-shirt design. Are they still available? :p

bikermeow,

Looks good, I'll have a few, or better still, if you have the art work I can have them made here in the Philippines.

Me too ! Let's make the T-Shirt in black this time and make the stickers big enough to be spotted, like the (ADV) stickers we see. A good contrast to the black cases would be good too.

Well, the design's owner will have to approve. The last T shirt order was made by FrozenNorth?

paging Mr. FrozenNorth? :)

Hello all:

The t-shirt is still available, both in black and white, long sleeve and short sleeve. I would, of course, need to have enough interest to do a run. Minimum is 30. Also, I would have to work out a price as it's been awhile since we did these. Last time I gave Doug the proceeds of the order, after production and shipping costs. I'd be happy to contribute again.

With regards to the stickers . . . I like the idea. Snowprick, I would be happy to send you finished artwork but have two requests: 1. That I have final approval on the design and 2. That any subsequent print runs, whether for stickers or anything else, first get my approval. Sorry to be a bit protective, but this is Mrs. North's artwork and she drew it on the condition that I protect the copyright.

Let me know what all of you think.

I'm in for one or two long-sleeve blacks. Have one from the first run and it's great. Been hoping for the chance to get another one! Stickers would be great, too.

I'll look into price on Tuesday, Monday is a long weekend here in Canada :) I'll get back with price and will post a link to an online order form. I used that last time and it worked well.

Cheers

Hiya, FrozenNorth. Let me know if you need help with stickers.

Otherwise I 'll be just another regular Joe who will be ordering the T and stickers.

Sorry Bikermeow, I misread the post, it was you who offered to make the stickers. I'm good with that. Are you thinking just the logo that appears on the front of the t-shirt? Perhaps die-cut around the wings? Or are you thinking something different? I own a graphic design shop, so I can set up the art to whatever spec you want once we decide on a design . . .

Cheers

Hiya,

I will have to get a quote on the printing for various volume, and will do that in the next couple of days. Yes, the front breast design and colour is good as it is, with a wingspan (tip to tip) of say 4 inches or so? Naturally water-resistance and SPF factor are important factors too

Let me do the running about before I tell ya what file format the shop needs. In the meantime would it be a good idea to gauge the volume from members here?

1. bikermeow - 5 stickers

3.
4.

Cheers

I would be good for a couple of shirts and a couple of stickers. Any chance of getting "reflective" stickers?

I work for a screen printer and ad specialty supplier and we could do the printing here, could even set up a web page to take orders. K

Reflective would be great. Maybe change bottom of logo to- R1150R.NET- ??? Just a thought that not all R1150R owners know of this site. Spread the word ? But I'm in anyway for 3-5.
