I am a newbie to the beemer world - just posted about tires and such - here is another one I can use help with. Been riding various bikes for 30 years +. So I am used how a bike turns, but with my Rockster leaning left I am getting pushback on the handle - not the right just the left or at least much more noticeable on the left - any suggestions?

I'd hazard a guess your tyres are worn more on one side than the other.

or maybe you're not sitting square on the bike? I've seen a few people ride who appear to be twisted to one side - has always confused me.

Funny one - sitting on the bike wrong.

I took the bike in and it had the Metzler M1 Sportec on the front. As it turns out the Tire was cracked - literally around about a third of the tire on the edge of the profile when you applied pressure from the Tire machine braking the seat it was cracked - splains it Lucy that is a good reason for bad handling. Needless to say I have new tires front and back since both were still original. Handles like a charm now.

There's irony in the Telelever handling: the bikes are very sensititive to front tire profile and condition, while front end "feel" is never what you experience with a well-tuned conventional fork setup on a sportsbike.

The only time my handlebars will "push back" is when there isn't enough air in the front tire. I'd check inflation pressures.
