Manic Salamander weights & cruise installed

Happy to report that they did considerably reduce what buzz was left
after I tuned it up the other day - the plugs were the culprit before.
Now, with foam sleeves and gloves, I have to squeeze the grips pretty
firmly to feel a buzz. With my normal grip, I hardly notice anything at all.
The cruise works smoothly, holds speed well, is easily adjusted to reduce or
increase cruise speed, and is easily disengaged.
The weights are about 1/4" to 3/8" longer than the originals, and are the
same dia as the handgrips with foam sleeves and are not tapered.
They are noticeably heavier, which is the whole idea.
Now if I can just remember to change plugs on time - - -

Just remembering comparing them, it seemed the manic ones were
half again as heavy or maybe a tad more. So stock maybe 10 to 12 oz?
I think I've got a scale that weighs oz's, I'll see if I can find it this weekend.

just ordered a pair today via manic salamander ebay, they sell "imperfect" but new weights for our bikes for 34.99 shipped. emailed them via ebay they said at most, the blemishes should be no bigger than a pinhole. can't wait for them to get in!

Agreed to a degree.
I did detect a noticeable difference, enough I'd consider them worthwhile,
but of course "not quite as much" as one might expect from reading the website.
Course, what is really as good as advertised any more?
I was as interested in the throttle lock as I was in vibration reduction. After
doing quite a bit of research on various cruise setups, and reading numerous
posts of which there are always pros and cons, I do have to say this one is
well made and functions smoothly. I just wish I could have found something
that I could operate with my thumb - I know there are some, but read enough
negative posts about the various ones available that I decided not to try them -
it is a little awkward having to manipulate something on the outer end of the throttle.
