This is the one I got for my R1150R http://www.ascycles.com/detail.aspx?ID=2000 I have standard size cases. The city cases are much narrower. This site list them by specific bike model.

You can go to almost any sign shop and pick-up 3M Scotchlite for next to nothing and cut out the shape best suited for your application.

or you can order from Sierra BMW in Reno (but runs about 3x the cost for less tape):

Gaijin:

Nice work with the reflective tape.

Is that a Motofizz camp bag on the back?

tlwood28:

thanks.

Yes, it is Motofizz (medium). When I expand to full size, I can put stuffs in there and more. Large one would to too big for me. I used it on my Sportster prior to switched to "R". It is a good bag, pretty of external straps etc. but it is not waterproof. It came with waterproof bag cover.

I bought two 8 1/2 x 11 inch 3M Black sheets and cut the pieces myself with an exacto knife. I used heavy construction paper first to create a template, then laid the 3M under the template and cut out the shapes I wanted for my cases. Pretty easy and saved some $$ over the precut kits.

I got some of the tape that is black during daylight, reflects white at night. I got mine cheap on ebay. They sold it in sheets of differing sizes.

If I assume you are from Las Vegas (by your username), then try http://www.montroy.com/catalog/main/location.app.

Like others, I have the 3M tape (I purchased from a sign shop that has rolls of it) in black that blends well to the cases and lights up a brilliant white at night when lights hit it, and glows red durning a sunny day. I commute to work in the early morning and have had many people ask about the tape.
