The Mission One production electric motorcycle -- which Mission claims can exceed speeds of 160 miles per hour -- can travel 150 miles on just the equivalent energy of one-third of a gallon of gasoline. The battery takes only two to eight hours to recharge, depending on the kind of outlet.
