Hey guys. Have a little issue and would love any advice you may have. I have a 2005 Rockster filled with 25,000 amazig miles. Today, I noticed thAt when I start the bike, the started screetches after the bike starts for a second. Exact same noice as when you push the starter when the bike is running. Except that it does it on it's own AFTER the strt for a sec. Is it a major issue warrantying swap of the starter or another issue?

It appears that the starter gear (Bendix) is hanging up. If under warranty, take the bike to the dealer, if not, you need to clean the starter. There have been a couple of good threads on the topic. Do a search on the R1150R forum for posts by DSKYZD or Boxer, they have text and pics on what you need to do.
